How to connect the wire to the locomotive train
Merry Christmas
You are a very lucky kid, dad is awesome. 🙂
This is exactly the info I have been looking for to get my layout I plan on building thank you
Great video. Are there any issues running 2 pug and play plug in terminal section on a 35ft track far from eachother? Thank you!!
there are 2 berkshires
i love the polar express
What it looks like to me is that we are using the wrong track and find something that is much better track
Good call on increasing the guage wire size, making it bigger, that makes a difference in low voltage applications.
who are we watching here?
IT'S GREAT!! CONGRATULATIONS FROM MONTEVIDEO URUGUAY, SOUTH AMÉRICA!!
Just watched your video. awesome I’m new to all this. Is there anyway you can contact me so I can talk to you about a few things thanks, JB.
First time Subscriber 🎉🎉🎉 Nice Video..Happy Railroading 😊😊😊
Thanks and welcome!
Cool
STUNNING!!
What a royal pain in the butt. You have to solder every connection? I don’t know about this.
Looks like i will hire an electrician. Thanks for the video post.
Hello, I'm curious about something I've seen this item on and your Layout for several years and it's looks like a little cage or something with a cord attached to it. Does it go with the Layout and the what it do? Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan
Nice pick up! Yes, that is a conduit for a fan, to suck out smoke through a filter underneath the table. The wires and cage are now hidden by scenery, and the smoke can filter out without anyone noticing.
Hey Dude, you bell is missing on the Class A.
Thanks, I did find it and attach it.
@@CDLionelTrains Great!! Not to worry though, I think since the A is new, a replacement bell could have been purchased and if Lionel didn't have it, you could go to a company called Precision Scale Company and they'd probably have it. BTW, why was the A doing all the smoking while the y6b had no smoke at all? I believe the Legacy y6 would rival the A in smoke output.
How did you get the figures to hold on like that
They have hand grips which hold on nicely!
Very nice !
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool
Thanks!
Where do you get this from?
Lionel Trains. Limited edition from 10 years aho.
nees a trypod
Do you still own this
Yes
@@CDLionelTrains its a wonderful locomotive
Uncle kevin and I just watched, it was great, thanks Chris and William!
Thanks!
Where do you get the cars with the light up headlights??
Woodland scenics
Awesome 😊
I like it 🎉😊
What height level is your layout, and what is the distance between levels? What is the layout size?
Awesomeness!
Thanks!
I will be sending you my neurologist Dr's bill because your layout just blew my mind. Nice Train set but incredible layout! Subbed.
That is a great compliment. William thinks it's hilarious!
Awesome video , top ten for sure !!
Thanks a ton!
I love the cavern-like scenery. I watched some of your earlier videos but couldn't get a feel for how your overall layout now looks. Have you considered shooting a "cab ride" video?
Thanks. I will in the future, but not ready for that yet.
Stunningly realistic👍🚂
Many thanks!
Harry is the best. He has weathered many of mine. Looks fantastic 👌
We agree!
FINALLY ! Weathered locomotives and rolling stock. Why do most Lionel train sets look like they are just off the shelves. Looks cheesy. HO looks WAY more realistic. Gee Wiz.
It's alot of work to do the weathering and scenery. It's most fun to just run and play.
Super nice! Love the weathering! I'd love to have an engine weathered sometime, but then I'd feel the need to weather everything else haha.
You and me both!
Wow those are wicked realistic mountains and caves!!! How did you do it?
Thanks! Alot of work. But plaster based, sculpting, blending colors... maybe I should do a video
Love Harry's work. I especially like the curtains he makes and adds. Great new addition.
We agree!
Amazing locomotive 😊
Indeed it is!
No issues with the engine going in reverse? Apparently there's an issue with a few of them.
There is several issues with every product Lionel produces these days.
@@northpennvalleysteamrailroad This is true, but a bad gearbox is one of the hardest to fix. Even for Lionel themselves I would advise running it in reverse with a good load on it to see if it grinds..
So far so good!
@@CDLionelTrains glad to hear it because I pick up mine tomorrow
Great layout. Harry weathering?
Yes...does a great job!
Awesome weathering he did , Nice camera work (:
Thanks 👍
cool
i like the train the polar express

0:52 Conductor: GET US THE BLAZES OUT OF HERE!!!
Superb tunnels and rock formations! Love the lighting, too. Is there a commercial source for the FRED on the rear end of the coal drag?
The flashing rear end device actually came with the set.
@@CDLionelTrains . Ah, many thanks anyway.
Why would aluminum coal hoppers be rusty?
Aluminum does rust, but in a different way than steel. When exposed to oxygen, it forms Aluminum oxide, which is different than iron oxide. It doesn't flake off like iron oxide. However, Aluminum does and will corrode, which actually looks white. In terms of the coal hoppers, coal is made up of sulfer, oxygen, and nitrogen, which, when mixed with water can create sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, which can lead to rust on steel. We are assuming that these coal cars steel.
